📐 About this role
As our Lead Brand Events Manager, you'll be at the helm of creating unforgettable events that not only showcase our brand but also inspire and engage our audience.
In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of all brand events. Whether it's a high-profile conference, an intimate product launch, or a virtual webinar, your creativity and organizational prowess will ensure that every event is a seamless reflection of Writer's values and vision.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, from marketing and sales to executive leadership, to align event goals with our broader brand objectives.

Event Strategy & Planning (60%)

Develop and implement an events strategy that targets the developer persona and senior technical leaders

Plan and execute a mix of 3rd-party conference participation, exclusive high-touch hiring events, meetups, and intimate dinners

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content and experiences for our target audiences

Manage event logistics, vendors, and budgets to ensure flawless execution and maximize ROI

Demand Generation & Sales Opportunities (20%)

Partner with our demand-generation and sales teams to create events that drive qualified leads and accelerate sales opportunities

Employment Branding & Candidate Pipeline (20%)

Create compelling employment branding experiences that position Writer as an employer of choice

Build and nurture a candidate pipeline for senior leadership roles through targeted events and initiatives with our recruiting team

Collaborate with top universities to attract top talent and foster research opportunities

⭐️ Is this you?

Proven experience (5+ years) in event management, with a focus on tech or developer events
-
Strong understanding of the developer community and effective strategies to engage this audience
-
Demonstrated ability to create and execute events that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and hiring outcomes

Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
