Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Producer to join our team and support the production of high-quality digital experiences. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn, have a foundational understanding of project management in tech and creative environments, and are excited to grow within a dynamic and collaborative team.

This is a remote, full-time (40 hours/week) role. We welcome applications from any location, but flexibility to be available during PT or ET hours (depending on your location) on a per project basis may be required.

Job Description

As a Junior Producer at Active Theory, you will work closely with mid, senior and director level producers to manage and deliver projects, and work autonomously to deliver smaller scopes of work including small projects and maintenance scopes. You will support multiple projects at various stages of production, gaining experience in the full lifecycle of digital production, from scoping and design to development and QA.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all relevant client and internal meetings throughout the production process.
  • Ensure all team members are updated with essential project information.
  • Assist more senior team members in leading teams of developers and designers, supporting them through scoping, design, development, QA, and launch phases.
  • Help manage production schedules by handling tasks such as proofing content, CMS population, and tracking progress.
  • Conduct testing and QA across different browsers and devices and coordinate third-party QA.
  • Assist in maintaining project documentation (e.g., SOWs, project schedules, meeting notes).
  • Manage project tracking platforms (e.g., Forecast for team resourcing, Harvest for budget tracking, Asana for task management).
  • Assist in daily team check-ins and client WIPs.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Some experience in digital production (1+ years preferred), preferably within a digital or creative agency.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana and G Suite (sheets, docs, slides).
  • Basic understanding of web development processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate in a remote working environment
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A willingness to learn and tackle a new challenge with every new project or brief.
